Your donations to San Foundation directly support San patients by funding life-saving equipment, research, education and patient care services. The benefits your donations bring to the San are reflected in our patients' positive experiences and in the caring environment created by our staff. Simply put, your donations make our community a healthier place to live and ensure that your family, friends and neighbours have access to high quality healthcare.

Here at San Foundation we work closely with the Hospital to ensure that we support the greatest needs of the Hospital. We aim to provide a positive hospital environment and enhance the comfort not just for the patients but for the entire family.

Advanced Medical Equipment and New Technology

Donations help purchase state-of-the-art equipment and new technology which help the San enhance the quality of health care provided to all patients.

Research

In addition to diagnosing, treating and caring for patients, the Australasian Research Institute (ARI) at the San is established to facilitate, coordinate and fund innovative and developmental research within the Adventist healthcare setting. Your donations support practical research that gives San patients access to breakthroughs in treatments, preventions and possible cures.

Education

San Education provides a comprehensive education program designed to support both the needs of hospital staff and members of the wider community. Your donations fund scholarships and education grants which help upskill San staff, keep them abreast of changes and current practices, and ultimately help our patients.

Patient Support

Thanks to your donations, San patients and their families have access to support services that create a comfortable, supportive and nurturing environment. Patient and family centered programs directly enhance the San’s excellent standard of care.

San Redevelopment

Significant donations from the community have helped fund the major redevelopment at the San that has changed the way health care is delivered in NSW. We have now raised our $20 million target for the Integrated Cancer Centre.
